Cancellation Policy

At Himalayan Nature Escapes, we understand that travel plans may change. Our cancellation policy is designed to align with global industry standards while ensuring fairness for both customers and our operational partners.

1. Refund Policy for Multi-Day High-Altitude Tours

Since our tours involve remote, high-altitude travel (Manali to Leh, Zanskar, Spiti, etc.), cancellations impact logistics like permits, accommodation bookings, and guide arrangements. A stricter refund policy applies to these expeditions:

• More than 45 days before departure – 90% refund of the total amount.
• 30 to 44 days before departure – 70% refund of the total amount.
• 15 to 29 days before departure – 40% refund of the total amount.
• 7 to 14 days before departure – 20% refund of the total amount.
• Less than 7 days before departure – No refund.

2. Non-Refundable Deposit for Expeditions

For premium or customized tours (such as private jeep safaris, high-altitude cycling expeditions), a non-refundable deposit (20%) is required at the time of booking to ensure serious reservations.

• If canceled more than 45 days before departure, the remaining amount (after deducting the deposit) is refunded based on the refund policy.

3. Last-Minute Cancellations – Partial Travel Credit

Instead of a total loss for cancellations within 7 days, we offer a 30% travel credit for future bookings, valid for 6-12 months.

• Less than 7 days before departure – No refund, but a 30% travel credit for a future trip.

4. Emergency Rescheduling – Added Flexibility

For genuine emergencies (accidents, medical issues, family crises), we allow:

• One free reschedule (with valid proof).
